Bharatiya Global Infomedia reported a 150% surge in Q1 FY27 revenue, but profitability reversed sharply from the previous quarter's profit, resulting in a net loss.

Bharatiya Global Infomedia (BGLOBAL) delivered a quarter of stark contrasts for Q1 FY27. While revenue saw a massive year-on-year increase, the company swung to a loss, marking a significant reversal from the strong profitability of the preceding quarter.

The numbers tell a volatile story. Revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 came in at ₹0.10 crore, a 150% jump from the ₹0.04 crore reported in the same quarter last year. However, this represents a steep 69.7% sequential decline from the ₹0.33 crore revenue in Q4 FY26. More critically, the company posted a net loss of ₹0.08 crore, a sharp deterioration from the ₹2.47 crore profit in the previous quarter and an 81.8% decline from the year-ago loss of ₹0.44 crore.

This performance underscores the uneven nature of project execution for the smart-city solutions provider. The following table illustrates the volatile trajectory over recent comparable quarters:

Key Points

  • The trailing twelve-month (TTM) profit stands at ₹3.59 crore, indicating that despite the Q1 loss, the company has been profitable on an annual basis.
  • The stock has delivered a modest 4.1% return over the past year, closing at ₹3.27 on August 10.
  • Key quality metrics remain under pressure, with a negative Return on Equity (ROE) and negative TTM Earnings Per Share (EPS).

Overall, the quarter highlights the challenges of converting sporadic top-line growth into consistent bottom-line performance. The focus now shifts to whether BGLOBAL can stabilize its revenue stream and return to profitability in the coming quarters.
