Bharti Airtel reported strong Q1 FY27 earnings with profit growth significantly outpacing revenue. The telecom giant's net profit margin expanded to 17.1%, marking a healthy sequential improvement.

Bharti Airtel kicked off the new fiscal year with impressive momentum, delivering a sharp acceleration in profitability for the quarter ended June 2026. The telecom leader's profit grew at more than double the pace of its revenue, a clear sign of improving operating leverage and financial health.

Revenue for Q1 FY27 rose 18.4% year-on-year to ₹58,539 crore, while profit surged 34.9% to ₹10,012 crore. This performance also represented a solid sequential step-up from the March quarter, with revenue and profit growing 5.7% and 8.3% quarter-on-quarter, respectively. The key driver was a significant expansion in net profit margin, which increased by 210 basis points from a year ago to reach 17.1%.

The company's financial trajectory over the last five quarters shows consistent progress.
