Dhruv Consultancy Revenue Rebounds but Net Losses Widen in Q1 FY27

Revenue surged 87% sequentially, but a net loss of ₹4.76 crore and a sharp YoY decline in profitability highlight ongoing challenges.

Dhruv Consultancy's Q1 FY27 saw a strong sequential revenue recovery, yet the company posted a deeper net loss compared to the previous quarter and a year ago.

Dhruv Consultancy Services reported a mixed first quarter for FY27, with a sharp sequential rebound in revenue overshadowed by a deepening net loss and a severe year-on-year decline in profitability. The infrastructure consultancy firm's top line improved from a weak previous quarter, but the bottom line remained firmly in negative territory.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 stood at ₹15.55 crore, a significant 86.9% increase from the ₹8.32 crore reported in Q4 FY26. However, this figure represents a 26.1% decline compared to the ₹21.04 crore earned in the same quarter last year. The company posted a net loss of ₹4.76 crore, which, while an improvement from the massive ₹31.01 crore loss in Q3 FY26, is substantially worse than the ₹1.6 crore profit from Q1 FY26 and the marginal ₹0.07 crore loss in the immediately preceding quarter. This resulted in a net profit margin of -30.6%, a stark deterioration from the 7.6% margin a year ago.

A look at the last five quarters reveals a volatile earnings path:

The trailing twelve-month (TTM) revenue stands at ₹37.42 crore, accompanied by a TTM net loss of ₹34.84 crore. This challenging financial performance has been reflected in the stock's trajectory, with the share price declining approximately 62% over the past year.

Key Points

  • The company's return on equity (ROE) and return on capital employed (ROCE) were deeply negative at -32.42% and -33.41%, respectively.
  • Leverage remains moderate with a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.27, and liquidity appears adequate with a current ratio of 2.28.

While the sequential revenue jump offers a glimmer of operational recovery, the widening losses and negative margins indicate that Dhruv Consultancy's path back to sustainable profitability remains steep.
