Aimco Pesticides' Q1 FY27 revenue fell sharply year-on-year, but the company managed to post a small profit after three consecutive quarters of losses.
Aimco Pesticides reported a 54.5% drop in Q1 FY27 revenue, yet achieved a positive net profit margin of 2.8%, marking a significant improvement from recent quarters.
Aimco Pesticides reported a challenging start to fiscal 2027, with revenue nearly halving from the prior year. However, the quarter delivered a notable positive: the company returned to profitability after a string of losses, a sign of improved cost control in a difficult sales environment.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 stood at ₹21.97 crore, a steep 54.5% decline compared to Q1 FY26. Sequentially, sales were also down 28.3% from the previous quarter. Despite this severe top-line contraction, the company posted a profit of ₹0.61 crore. This marks a significant turnaround from a loss of ₹4.16 crore in Q4 FY26 and a loss of ₹1.5 crore in the same quarter last year. The net profit margin for the quarter was 2.8%, a substantial 590 basis point improvement year-on-year.
The recent quarterly performance shows a clear trend of revenue normalization and a fight back to profitability.
