Mutual Fund Distribution Registration and Servicing Arrangement
HexaWealth is registered with AMFI as a Corporate Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-313007). This registration was initially obtained to help investors transition from regular plans to direct plans through the BSE platform.
Our preferred approach is to serve clients through our investment advisory model, rather than as a mutual fund distributor. However, in practice, there are situations where an immediate transition of an existing portfolio from regular plans to direct plans may not be appropriate or efficient.
For example, redeeming an existing portfolio and reinvesting in direct plans may result in tax consequences, exit loads, or other transaction-related costs. In such cases, an immediate transition may not be the most tax-efficient way to optimize the portfolio.
To facilitate portfolio optimization in a more practical and tax-efficient manner, we are therefore extending the use of our ARN registration to also offer clients the option of transferring the servicing of their existing regular-plan mutual fund investments to HexaWealth under ARN-313007.
This allows us to have a more complete view of your portfolio and manage it on an ongoing basis, while avoiding unnecessary redemption and reinvestment of existing investments. It also allows us to gradually transition investments to direct plans in a more phased and tax-conscious manner, wherever appropriate.
The transfer of servicing to HexaWealth's ARN is completely voluntary. You are not required to transfer your existing mutual fund investments to our ARN in order to continue your advisory relationship with HexaWealth.Having your investments under our ARN also enables us to have a more complete view of your portfolio, facilitate ongoing portfolio management and rebalancing, and avoid unnecessary transactions that may otherwise result from an immediate transition to direct plans. Over time, this can also help us optimize the overall cost and efficiency of your portfolio. If you have any questions about how the ARN transfer works, you may email us at support@hexawealth.in or connect directly with your HexaWealth advisor.
