The company's strategic shift to agricultural commodities has yet to gain traction, with revenue falling to just ₹0.42 crore in Q2 FY27.
TTL Enterprises reported a 90.5% year-on-year crash in revenue to ₹0.42 crore for Q2 FY27. While net profit margin improved, the business remains in a state of transition with minimal trading activity.
TTL Enterprises is in the midst of a strategic pivot to agricultural commodities, but its latest quarter shows the transition is far from complete. Revenue collapsed by over 90% from a year ago, revealing a business operating at a bare minimum while it works to establish its new wholesale trading operations.
The numbers tell a story of near dormancy. Revenue for the September 2026 quarter was a mere ₹0.42 crore, down 90.5% from ₹4.40 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, revenue inched up 5.0% from ₹0.40 crore in the June quarter. Profit after tax was ₹0.02 crore, down 71.4% year-on-year but doubling from the ₹0.01 crore reported in Q1 FY27.

Despite the revenue crash, the net profit margin expanded by 310 basis points year-on-year to 4.8%. According to a report by ScanX, this was driven by a sharper decline in total expenses, which fell 90.9% YoY, slightly outpacing the revenue drop. However, this masks a worrying trend: employee benefit expenses more than doubled, suggesting fixed costs are becoming a larger burden on a shrinking revenue base.
The company’s balance sheet reflects this period of minimal activity. ScanX notes that trade receivables fell sharply to ₹76.82 lakh as of September 2026 from ₹636.26 lakh at the end of March. Cash increased as receivables were collected, but this is a result of winding down old business, not generating new sales.
Management has positioned the company for wholesale trading of agricultural goods, but the quarter's minuscule revenue indicates this initiative has not yet scaled. The broader market for agricultural commodity distributors in India is growing, projected by KAMRIT to reach ₹39,814 crore by 2033. However, the sector faces significant headwinds, including a government suspension of futures trading in key commodities, which ScanX reports is crimping risk management and forcing traders to cut inventory.

With no debt on its books, the company has financial flexibility. Yet, the path forward hinges on reigniting its core trading operations in a challenging regulatory and inflationary environment. The clock is ticking to translate its strategic shift into meaningful revenue.
Key Points
This quarter is less about performance and more about positioning. TTL Enterprises is essentially a shell of its former self, conserving cash and clearing its books while its new business model remains untested. The improved margin is a mathematical artifact of a near-zero revenue base, not operational efficiency.
The real test will be the next two quarters. Investors must watch for a material pick-up in revenue to confirm the agri-trading strategy is viable. Until then, the company remains in a holding pattern, with its valuation reflecting the uncertainty of a complete business reinvention.
