Premier's Q2 FY27 results show no revenue from operations and a deepening net loss, with its manufacturing plant shut and a resolution plan pending NCLT approval.
Premier Limited reported zero revenue for the seventh consecutive quarter in Q2 FY27, with a net loss of ₹1.15 crore. The company remains under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process, with its Chakan plant suspended since March 2020 due to a lack of working capital.
For Premier Limited, the September quarter was another period defined by what did not happen. The engineering firm, under corporate insolvency since 2021, reported no revenue from operations for the seventh quarter in a row. Its net loss for Q2 FY27 stood at ₹1.15 crore, a 174% year-on-year deterioration from a smaller loss a year ago.
The numbers tell a story of suspended animation. Revenue has been zero since Q4 FY25, and the trailing-twelve-month loss now totals ₹6.42 crore. The quarterly loss narrowed slightly from ₹1.76 crore in Q1, but only because total expenses fell.

The complete absence of sales stems from a fundamental operational halt. According to reports from Arthneeti and FlashFinance, manufacturing at Premier's Chakan plant has been suspended since March 2020 due to a lack of working capital. The company is surviving on minimal other income, which fell 84% year-on-year to ₹0.30 crore this quarter.
The path forward is frozen in legal process. A resolution plan submitted by Fab Metals Pvt. Ltd. was approved by the Committee of Creditors in January 2022. However, as noted by MarketsMojo and Multibagg.ai, it still awaits final approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). Until then, the company's fate is in limbo.
With no operations, the company is slowly consuming its remaining assets. Depreciation and finance costs accounted for most of the ₹1.15 crore quarterly loss. The balance sheet, as of March 2026, shows a negative net worth of ₹343.79 crore, according to MarketsMojo.
Current liabilities of over ₹512 crore dwarf current assets of about ₹23 crore, resulting in a perilously low current ratio of 0.05. Institutional interest is minimal, with FIIs absent and DIIs holding just 5.72%.
Key Points
The quarter confirms Premier is a corporate entity in stasis, not a going business. The reported 'improvement' in profit year-on-year is a distortion from an exceptionally low base, not a recovery. The investment case rests entirely on the terms of the pending resolution plan, which could involve significant dilution or a total write-off for current equity.
With no revenue, negative equity, and minimal institutional backing, the stock trades on speculation over the NCLT outcome rather than business fundamentals. For any existing holder, the resolution plan's approval is the only remaining catalyst, but it may not preserve shareholder value.
