A powerful sequential rebound in Q4 profit drove strong full-year earnings growth, though margins remain under pressure.
Lux Industries reported a 28% revenue jump and a 278% profit surge in Q4 FY26, leading to a 28% profit increase for the full year. The quarterly recovery highlights improved performance after a weak third quarter.
Lux Industries closed its financial year on a high note, with a powerful sequential rebound in its March quarter. While annual sales growth remained healthy, the standout story was a significant recovery in quarterly profitability, setting a positive tone for the new fiscal year.
The fourth quarter saw revenue rise 6.8% year-on-year to ₹873 crore. However, profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter was slightly down 1.5% compared to Q4 FY25. The real momentum came from the previous quarter, with a 29.8% revenue jump and a staggering 277.8% surge in profit from a weak Q3 base. This brought the quarterly net profit margin to 5.4%, a notable recovery from 1.9% in Q3, though still 50 basis points lower than the same period last year.
