Vishal Mega Mart has kicked off FY27 with a robust quarter, showing healthy growth in both sales and profitability. Revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 rose 18.7% year-on-year to ₹3,727 crore, while profit grew even faster at 25.6% to ₹258.8 crore. This performance was driven by a significant improvement in net profit margin, which expanded to 6.9% from 6.6% a year ago.
The sequential improvement was even more striking. Compared to the March 2026 quarter, revenue grew 19.7% and profit surged 54.1%. This sharp profit jump reflects a strong recovery in profitability from the previous quarter's margin of 5.4%. The company's trailing-twelve-month (TTM) net profit margin stands at 6.6%, with total TTM profit of ₹892 crore on revenue of ₹13,493 crore.
