The textile major posted a sharp 55% sequential jump in profit, driven by a significant recovery in net profit margins.
Trident's Q1 FY27 results show a powerful profit rebound. Profit soared 55% from the previous quarter, outpacing a solid 9.5% revenue growth, as net profit margins expanded meaningfully.
Trident has kicked off FY27 with a strong earnings rebound, as a sharp recovery in profitability drove profit growth far ahead of sales. The company's first-quarter performance marks a clear improvement from the volatile earnings pattern of the past year.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 came in at ₹1,786.83 crore, up 4.7% from the same period last year and 9.5% higher than the March 2026 quarter. The real story, however, is the profit surge. Net profit jumped 13% year-on-year to ₹158.09 crore, but more impressively, it soared 55% compared to the immediately preceding quarter. This was powered by a significant expansion in net profit margin, which rose to 8.8% from 6.2% in Q4 FY26 and 8.2% in Q1 FY26.
The quarterly trajectory shows a company regaining its footing after a period of pressure.
