Tejas Networks reported a near doubling of revenue in Q1 FY27, yet its quarterly loss widened sequentially. The company's sales momentum is strong, but profitability remains a key hurdle.

Tejas Networks delivered a powerful top-line performance in the first quarter of FY27, with revenue nearly doubling from a year ago. However, this impressive sales growth has yet to translate into profitability, as the company posted another substantial quarterly loss, which even widened slightly from the previous quarter.

The company's revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 soared to ₹402.16 crore, marking a 99.1% jump compared to Q1 FY26. Sequentially, revenue also grew a healthy 20.9%. In contrast, the quarterly loss stood at ₹202.24 crore. While this represents a modest 4.3% improvement year-on-year, it worsened by 4.3% compared to the ₹211.34 crore loss in Q4 FY26.

The table above illustrates a clear, multi-quarter uptrend in revenue, while losses have remained stubbornly high. Over the trailing twelve months (TTM), the company's total revenue reached ₹1,303.46 crore, accompanied by a TTM loss of ₹917.26 crore.

Key Points

  • The stock has declined 8.8% over the past year and 34.9% over three years, reflecting investor concern over sustained losses.
  • Key financial health metrics remain under pressure, with a negative Return on Equity (ROE) of -27.81% and a Debt-to-Equity ratio of 1.42.

While the revenue trajectory signals strong demand and execution, the path to sustainable earnings remains Tejas Networks' critical challenge for the coming quarters.
