Vipul's Q3 FY26 results show a mixed picture. While revenue grew from the previous quarter, profit fell sharply year-on-year and sequentially, with net profit margin contracting significantly.

Vipul Limited reported a quarter of contrasting fortunes for Q3 FY26. While revenue showed a healthy sequential recovery, profitability faced a severe squeeze, with profit declining sharply both year-on-year and from the prior quarter.

The company's revenue for the quarter ended December 2025 came in at ₹9.19 crore, marking a 15.6% increase from the previous quarter. However, this was still 18.4% lower than the ₹11.26 crore reported in the same quarter last year. The more pronounced weakness was in profit, which plummeted 67.6% year-on-year to ₹1.21 crore and collapsed 83.3% from the ₹7.24 crore earned in Q2 FY26. This sharp divergence caused the net profit margin to contract dramatically to 13.1%, down from 33.1% a year ago.

A look at the last five quarters reveals a volatile earnings trajectory, with profitability swinging into deep losses in recent periods.

The trailing twelve-month (TTM) figures underscore the broader challenge, with a cumulative net loss of ₹27.93 crore on TTM revenue of ₹63.08 crore, resulting in a negative TTM net profit margin of -44.3%.

Key Points

  • Financial Health: The company maintains a relatively low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.23, but key profitability metrics like Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) remain negative.
  • Stock Performance: The earnings pressure is reflected in the stock's one-year return of -34.5%.

The immediate task for Vipul is to stabilize its bottom line and translate any top-line momentum back into sustainable profitability.
