G-Tec Jainx Education reported a 100% jump in year-on-year profit for Q1 FY27, with net profit margin expanding significantly. Revenue, however, declined compared to the same quarter last year.

G-Tec Jainx Education has delivered a mixed earnings report for the quarter ended June 2026. While revenue declined from a year ago, the company managed to more than double its profit, signaling a sharp recovery in profitability after a difficult previous quarter.

The company's revenue for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹2.25 crore, down 10.4% from ₹2.51 crore in Q1 FY26. However, profit after tax surged 100% year-on-year to ₹0.30 crore. This impressive profit growth was driven by a dramatic expansion in net profit margin, which rose 740 basis points to 13.3% from 5.9% a year ago. Sequentially, revenue rebounded strongly by 43.3% from a weak Q4, but profit swung from a loss of ₹0.66 crore.

A look at the last five quarters shows the volatility in the company's performance:

Key Points

  • The company's stock has delivered an 18.3% return over the past year, closing at ₹28.99 on the results date.
  • Its balance sheet shows moderate leverage with a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.77 and a comfortable current ratio of 1.84.

The latest quarter marks a return to positive earnings, but sustaining both revenue growth and healthy margins will be the key test for the coming fiscal year.
