Cerebra Integrated Technologies reported a sharp 82% drop in Q1 revenue year-on-year. However, the company's net loss for the quarter narrowed significantly from the prior three-month period.

Cerebra Integrated Technologies reported a severe contraction in its first-quarter earnings, with revenue collapsing by more than 80% compared to the same period last year. While the top-line figure fell sharply, the company's net loss for the quarter showed a marked improvement from the preceding three months, offering a sliver of relief in an otherwise challenging period.

The company's revenue for Q1 FY27 stood at just ₹0.32 crore, down 82.1% from ₹1.79 crore in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, revenue also fell 71.9% from ₹1.14 crore in Q4 FY26. Profit, however, told a different story. The net loss of ₹6.46 crore was a 54.2% improvement year-on-year from a loss of ₹14.10 crore, and a more substantial 79.3% improvement from the massive ₹31.15 crore loss posted in the immediate prior quarter.

A look at the last five quarters reveals a volatile trajectory for the e-waste management firm, with revenue peaking in Q2 FY26 and losses swelling in Q4 FY26 before the recent partial recovery.

Key Points

  • The trailing twelve-month (TTM) revenue stands at ₹4.49 crore, with a TTM net loss of ₹64.0 crore.
  • The stock has mirrored the operational struggle, delivering a negative 64.6% one-year return as of the results date.
  • Key quality metrics remain under pressure, with a negative Return on Equity (ROE) of -25.08% and negative earnings per share.

The dramatic revenue decline poses a fundamental challenge, and the next quarter will be critical to see if this was an isolated trough or indicative of a sustained downturn in core operations.
