AKG Exim's Q4 FY26 results show a severe contraction, with revenue and profit down sharply both year-on-year and sequentially. The full-year picture confirms a multi-year downtrend in the company's earnings.

AKG Exim's financial results for the quarter and year ended March 2026 paint a picture of significant contraction. The international trading house saw both its top and bottom lines shrink sharply, continuing a challenging trend that has persisted over several years.

The fourth quarter was particularly weak. Revenue fell 44.6% compared to the same quarter last year, while profit plummeted 74.1%. Sequentially, the declines continued, with revenue down 9.9% and profit down 30.0% from the December quarter. This pressure is evident in the quarterly trajectory over the past year.

The full-year results mirror this weakness. For FY25 (the latest completed fiscal year), revenue declined 27.7% to ₹132.69 crore, and profit fell 46.6% to ₹0.86 crore. This extends a longer-term decline, with the company's revenue shrinking at a 5-year CAGR of -10.7% and profit at -25.1%.

Key Points

  • The trailing twelve-month (TTM) net profit margin stands at a thin 0.4%.
  • The stock has declined 11.6% over the past year and 62.2% over three years, reflecting the prolonged earnings pressure.
  • Despite the weak earnings, the company maintains a modest debt-to-equity ratio of 0.21.

With profitability margins now wafer-thin, the core challenge for AKG Exim is reigniting growth in its core trading businesses of metal scrap and agro-commodities.
