Paisalo Digital's Annual Growth Strong, But Quarterly Profit Momentum Slips

Paisalo Digital posted solid year-on-year gains in Q1 FY27, though profit dipped sequentially from a high base, pulling margins lower.

By HexaWealth Research

Paisalo Digital's Q1 FY27 revenue grew 21.5% year-on-year, with profit up 30.5%. However, profit fell 14.6% from the previous quarter, indicating a potential shift in momentum.

Paisalo Digital's first-quarter results for FY27 present a mixed picture: robust annual growth contrasted with a sequential pullback in profitability. The non-banking finance company reported strong year-on-year gains, but profit and margins softened compared to the previous quarter, suggesting a pause in its recent earnings momentum.

The company's revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 came in at ₹254.62 crore, a healthy 21.5% increase from the same period last year. Profit grew even faster, rising 30.5% year-on-year to ₹60.87 crore. This improvement lifted the net profit margin by 160 basis points to 23.9% compared to Q1 FY26, reflecting better profitability over the longer term.

However, the quarter-on-quarter comparison tells a different story. Revenue was essentially flat, dipping 0.4% from ₹255.67 crore in Q4 FY26. More notably, profit declined 14.6% from ₹71.25 crore, and the net profit margin contracted from 27.9% to 23.9%. This indicates that the exceptionally high profitability of the March 2026 quarter was not sustained.
