Pace Digitek's Profit Resilience Masks a Sharp Revenue Contraction

The telecom infrastructure firm's Q1 revenue fell sharply year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter, though profit and net margins showed surprising strength.

By HexaWealth Research

Pace Digitek's Q1 FY27 saw revenue contract by 22.2% YoY, but profit declined by a smaller 16.7%. Sequentially, profit grew 4.7% despite a 45.7% revenue drop, lifting net profit margin significantly.

Pace Digitek's first-quarter results for FY27 present a mixed picture, with a significant contraction in revenue offset by resilient profitability. While sales dropped sharply both year-on-year and sequentially, the company managed to protect its bottom line, leading to a notable expansion in net profit margin.

The quarter ended June 2026 saw revenue of ₹264.24 crore, a 22.2% decline from the ₹339.67 crore reported in Q1 FY26. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹42.51 crore, down a more moderate 16.7% year-on-year. This divergence indicates improved cost management or a favorable business mix, pushing the net profit margin up by 110 basis points to 16.1%.

The sequential story is even more striking. Compared to the March 2026 quarter, revenue nearly halved, falling 45.7%. Yet, profit actually grew by 4.7%, a clear sign of operational efficiency gains. This drove the net profit margin up dramatically from 8.3% in Q4 to 16.1% in Q1.

Over the trailing twelve months (TTM), the company's net profit margin stands at 14.6%, suggesting the latest quarter's margin is above its recent average. The company maintains a strong balance sheet, with a high return on equity of 32.65% and a very low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.14.

The key question for Pace Digitek is whether this quarter's profit resilience can be sustained if the top-line pressure from the telecom infrastructure sector continues.
