Healthcare Global Enterprises (HCG) delivered a powerful earnings rebound in the first quarter of FY27, with profit soaring on both a yearly and quarterly basis. This marks a significant turnaround from the volatile profitability seen over the past year, driven by solid revenue growth and a sharp expansion in net profit margin.
The company reported a profit of ₹16.46 crore for Q1 FY27, a staggering 175.3% increase from the ₹5.98 crore earned in the same quarter last year. Sequentially, profit surged over 300% from the ₹4.04 crore recorded in Q4 FY26. Revenue grew healthily by 13.4% year-on-year to ₹695.1 crore, and also improved 6.6% from the previous quarter. This combination of rising sales and surging profit pushed the net profit margin up to 2.4%, a substantial 140 basis point improvement from the 1.0% margin in Q1 FY26.
