The pharmaceutical firm saw a sharp year-on-year decline in sales and profit, but sequential results show a strong rebound from a weak Q4.
Haleos Labs reported a 14.2% YoY drop in revenue and a 37.2% fall in profit for Q1 FY27. However, profit surged 45.3% from the previous quarter, indicating a recovery from a low base.
Haleos Labs reported a mixed set of numbers for the first quarter of FY27, with both revenue and profit declining sharply compared to the same period last year. However, a strong sequential rebound in profit from a weak fourth quarter suggests the company may be stabilizing its earnings trajectory.
The quarter ended June 2026 saw revenue of ₹67.83 crore, down 14.2% from ₹79.04 crore in Q1 FY26. Profit after tax (PAT) fell even more sharply, dropping 37.2% year-on-year to ₹3.24 crore. This contraction pushed the net profit margin down to 4.8%, a decline of 170 basis points from the 6.5% margin a year ago. The more encouraging news came from the quarter-on-quarter comparison. Revenue grew 7.0% from ₹63.38 crore in Q4 FY26, while profit surged 45.3% from a low base of ₹2.23 crore, lifting the PAT margin from 3.5%.
A look at the last five quarters reveals the volatility in the company's performance.

| Metric | CurrentQ1 FY27 | PreviousQ4 FY26 | Same quarter LYQ1 FY26 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Period Ended | June 2026 | March 2026 | June 2025 |
| Revenue (₹ Cr) | 67.83YoY -14% | 63.38 | 79.04 |
| Profit (₹ Cr) | 3.24YoY -37% | 2.23 | 5.16 |
| Net Profit Margin (%) | 4.8YoY -26% | 3.5 | 6.5 |
The table shows that the latest quarter's revenue is the second-lowest in the last five, while profit has recovered from the trough of Q4 FY26 but remains well below the levels seen in the middle of FY26.
On a trailing twelve-month (TTM) basis, revenue stands at ₹289.78 crore with a profit of ₹15.86 crore, translating to a TTM net profit margin of 5.5%. The company maintains a moderate balance sheet with a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.43 and a return on equity of 10.03%. At a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 16.2, the stock trades at a significant discount to the industry average P/E of 37.4.
The key question for Haleos Labs is whether the sequential profit recovery marks the beginning of a sustained turnaround or merely a bounce from an unusually weak quarter.
