Balaji Amines Q1 Profit Surges 114% on Strong Revenue Growth

The specialty chemicals maker posted a 27% rise in revenue and a 114% jump in profit year-on-year, with net profit margin expanding significantly.

Balaji Amines delivered robust Q1 FY27 results, with profit more than doubling year-on-year. Revenue growth was strong, and net profit margin improved to 17.1%.

Balaji Amines has kicked off the new fiscal year with impressive momentum, reporting a sharp surge in profitability for the quarter ended June 2026. The company's profit more than doubled compared to the same period last year, significantly outpacing strong revenue growth and highlighting improved operational efficiency.

The first quarter saw revenue rise 27.2% year-on-year to ₹455.93 crore. Profit after tax soared 113.9% to ₹78.12 crore. This acceleration in profit growth, far exceeding the top-line increase, points to strong operating leverage. The net profit margin expanded by 690 basis points year-on-year to reach 17.1%, a clear sign of enhanced profitability.

Sequentially, the growth story continued. Revenue grew 15.5% from the March 2026 quarter, while profit increased 20.6%. The company's trailing twelve-month (TTM) net profit margin stands at 13.8%, indicating the latest quarter's performance is a step up from the recent average.

The recent quarterly performance shows a clear trajectory of improvement over the past year.
